for VP of Administration

My name is Mukesh C. Punjabi and I come from India. I have been enrolled at Golden Gate University as a full time student for the MBA in Finance program.

Throughout my education, I have always been an active member for student body associations. I was an active member of the Gymkhana Committee (India) and acted as its secretary for a year. I helped organize various activities as well as intra-college tournaments.

Upon my arrival at GGU, I found out that there wasn't an Indian Association on campus. I actively contributed at the creation of the present club and I am currently acting as the VP of Administration in that association.

As VP of Administration for the Indian Association, I have been updating the database of all the club members; maintain good relations with them. So far I have been associated in successfully organizing couple of events - Cultural event in Nov, 05 (an event which turned to be a grand opening event for the club) and the Republic Day event in Jan, 06

Furthermore, as a good team player, my goal would be to help SGA with its Administration to the fullness of my abilities.

Student Government Association (SGA) represents the various interest groups from the schools of business, taxation and technology at GGU. The SGA strives to represent the goals and objectives of the student body by promoting student development and properly allocating student funds. Four members make up the SGA team and are awarded scholarships for their responsibilities.
